If you’re running thick, high-viscosity inks, you need a serious amount of power to get them to cure. But here’s the catch: more wattage means more heat. It’s a frustrating trade-off. If you push too hard, you end up warping your material or scorching the ink. To fix that, we play around with the electrode positioning and wattage to make sure the light is perfectly even across the whole web. And if your substrate can’t take the heat? We’ll build in forced-air cooling or water-cooled jackets. It keeps things chill so you can run fast without ruining your product. Getting the light right. Not all UV light is created equal. Different inks react to different wavelengths, so we tune our lamps to the exact nanometer range you need. This ensures the cure happens all the way through—from the surface right down to the substrate. We use high-purity quartz glass so the UV light actually gets out instead of getting trapped. Plus, we wrap everything in anodized aluminum reflectors. It basically catches the “wasted” light and bounces it back onto your product. You get more punch without blowing your electricity budget. No one wants a weekend of rewiring. The last thing you want is to spend three days tearing apart your press just to install a new lamp. That’s why we design these as simple drop-in replacements. We use standard connectors and brackets, so you can swap a module during a regular teardown and get back to work. We also keep the footprint tiny.
