Instead of sending someone to do manual checks every few hours, you just look at a dashboard. You can see the energy draw of every single tube on the line. This makes it easy to spot the “energy hogs.” You know, those old lamps with worn-out electrodes that are sucking up too much current? You can flag them and swap them out immediately.
