The nitty-gritty on the output
At 80W/cm, you’re getting a heavy hit of UVC and UVB. To make sure that energy actually gets where it needs to go, we use high-purity quartz glass. The goal here is consistency. You don’t want “cold spots” along the tube—nothing is more frustrating than pulling a product off the line only to find a tacky, uncured patch of resin. With these, the light is steady from end to end. One heads-up: these lamps runhot. Really hot. Make sure your cooling blowers are up to the task. If the airflow is too weak, the quartz will overheat. That’s a fast track to a burnt-out lamp or a sudden drop in power.
Fitting them into your setup
These are designed to be simple drop-in replacements. We kept the dimensions and pin layouts standard, so you can just swap them out. No need to mess around with your ballast or rebuild your reflector housing. Just plug and play. We also obsess over the electrode seals. If the seal leaks, the gas escapes and the lamp dies early.
